Cross Scythes, Derbyshire Lane

Enos Brown was the publican there in 1881.

Enos Brown age 40 b. Sheffield Engraver and Publican. He was there with wife Christiana and 7 children. Christiana's maiden name was Fearnehough daughter of a scythe maker from Dore. Name of the pub quite apt!
