ukelele lady
I'm extremely pleased with that find; not that it beats your ongoing contributions Ukelele Lady which are breathtaking ! Late October is my chosen date for "closure" of updates, prior to Fishface (Stuart) and me doing the "stuff" required for Christmas - you wait for the "stop date" - then continue on exactly as you are doing. The "stop date" simply means we have a bunch of stuff we can work with and the time to do data manipulation/cleaning. I love the way I say "We" ... as if I'm doing it - lots of help from moderators/anyone willing and able to post from a bunch of text is requested. Thank you Vox for your offer of help; the data will be clean, sorted, alphabetical and ready to "cut and paste" - I promise that. In effect, its a re-posting in A-Z order of updated data for all pubs 1818-1922 wit every known Publican; we will then back-update the existing A-Z listing, thus maintaining all comments, pictures, links to PictureSheffield, newspaper snippets etc. Ukelele Lady, you please ignore the stop date and keep doing what you do so well.; we will sort the Christmas update, you are our best hope for further updates and your work confirms the stuff I have been doing; for which; once again, a Big Thank You. (It doesn't tell us when he took the place on, but is a precise dating, from the Outrages hearings from the man himself and therefore a valid, name, date, address and year entry Read it on the train back from London, day 2 of the hearings).
