SteveHB
Struggling to place Hawley Croft in relation to Broad Lane to be honest regardless of what is, or isn't, on the map. Rawson Allen, Orange Branch, 28 Hollis Croft (1828-29); nearby, could this be Rawson ?? and for that matter, where is/was Tenter Street ? (Sorry to be a stupie - it's been a tough day at work ! - nine hours over two days on the blower to Orange/Everythingeverywhere.com - brain mashed) This should help. Tenter Street and the four crofts,1853. Flash Earth
RichardB
Fine map work Steve, Thank you. You currently owe us £32,000 for mobile phone bills for the last two and a half months does tend to concentrate the mind somewhat. (I've had something of a result; more on this in "General Chat".) This should help. Tenter Street and the four crofts,1853. Flash Earth

RichardB
That's a tremendous job you are doing on the back of Syrup's tremendous job. I'm hoping for a holiday and I'll be needing a download of the entire A-Z, so, here's me asking, politely, for help please. I don't need it yet, but I don't know how to do it anymore and certain individuals do, I believe - just a heads up. It'd going to be a big bunch of files, isn't it ? With the new file size limit, is it possible that we could have a Christmas posting of a document with all the pubs and all the data ()at that point in time, a "snapshot" - this would obviously be updated two days later, but what a resource that would be. RichardB
I'm hoping to head for "the middle of nowhere" just after Christmas, I can't download the A-Z whilst your sterling work is going on, so that's all sounding very good as a plan. Just need ?t?v?H? to provide the technical assistance at some point I am trying to get it completed for Christmas if possible.
RichardB
So far into the middle of nowhere it close by where the President is supposed to go in times of National Emergency (or the Vice President), as far away from every country in the World as it is possible to get on mainland America - supposedly. Maybe our Canadian correspondent(s) can pass comment - Mick and Elaine. ? You have the name in 1871 although he's only 17 and a labourer maybe by 1880 he could have ran the beerhouse or pub called the Marshall Villa aka Marshall Tavern??
