In Whites 1879 Directory, William Burgoyne Fernell is recorded as a brewer at Mower & Pearson and George Herbert Hunt recorded as a brewers manager but no mention of the brewery.

Mower & Pearson, brewers, wine and spirit merchants, 56 Pea Croft and 61 63 Scotland Street.

When did they stop being involved at Albion Brewery. Was it taken over, had they dissolved the partnership or declared bankrupt?

Lowe, Peter, (P & Co) h. Ecclesall Road.

Lowe, Peter & Co., brewers, maltsters and hop merchants, Albion Brewery, Ecclesall Road.
