THYLACINE Posted November 18, 2010 Share Posted November 18, 2010 Ron Simpson passed away on 11th November 2010. He played left wing for Sheffield United from 1958 to 1965. On Wikipaedia I remember him as one of a group of specialist wingers who served United well in the 60's, among them, Len Allchurch, Gilbert Reece, Alan Woodward, Tony Hartle and Bill Punton.
