Guest Old Canny Street Kid
Additional photo to the above. Did you ever have any luck with your search? If not, it might be useful to choose one of your pictures and send an item to The Star. The paper has a Contact Column every Saty, and you may reach a few people who do not have a computer. You must let us know how you go on.
Guest JPWhitelam
Hi, I'm also trying to find some people that worked at Shardlow's but a bit later, in the sixties..... Bob Smith, Grenville Whitelam, Doreen Whitelam, I think they were still making micrometers then... any pointers gratefully received :-) Oh and also the Briggs family, Pauline daughter of Sid...... Thanks JPW
