(Mainly for SteveHB) The dates, name Herbert Smith, and address (166 Arundel St) were passed onto me via PM, from the S&DFHS, though the provider was a little unsure about 1910 date. ukelele lady
Blue Pig/Blue Boar, 22 Workhouse Lane 1891 Joseph Holliday or Henry Cornthwaite or someone else ? 1891 Henry Cornthwaite [ my grt grt grandfather] was at Oborne Street . Definitely at the Blue Pig 1883 and 1884, could also have been there 1882 as I have got him down as publican but no mention of the pub.

ukelele lady
Lord Nelson - Herbert Smith (1882-1911) How do we know it's Arundel Street Lord Nelson and not Greystock Road Lord Nelson or even Broad Street Lord Nelson ? (Mainly for SteveHB) Strange as it seems the only Lord Nelson I have got looking through from 1825 to 1922 is the Greystock Road one. and Herbert Smith doesn't live there. I don't know why none of the other Lord Nelsons are not in but I don't know when they were built. Not much help on that one :(

RichardB
I've got her husband at 1876 Thomas Hornbuckle and Charlotte Hornbuckle through to 1883. I agree, William Horsepool shows up in 1888/89, then 1893 its Charlotte Horsepool - which I now think means we may be looking for a Hornbuckle/Horsepool marriage (just a possibility). Welcome back; hope you had a great break.
