RichardB Posted April 4, 2007 Share Posted April 4, 2007 (Images of England Central Sheffield - Martin Olive) The monument has now attracted a jumble of guns, toilets, drinking fountain, telephone booth and an ornamental kiosk supplying info on trams and buses. All swept away to make Furnival Gate. The guns went during the war and the top and bottom sections of the monument ended up in the Botanical Gardens (picture please !)
