She was seriously injured when a "can of combustibles" was thrown into the house of George Watnidge a Fener Grinder in Acorn street on 23rd of November. 2 December 1863 Joseph Shaw was apprehended at Penistone wnted for stealing £180 from the Bulls Head in Castleton. 2 December 1933 A tiger escaped from a cage at the Empire Theatre ad injured an attendant being at large for 4 hours. 2 December 1939 Consecration of St Paul's church Arbourthorne.
