RichardB Posted September 16, 2009 Share Posted September 16, 2009 5th Feb 1858 About twelve o'clock this day a most awful explosion took place at Mr. Bywater's firework manufactory, at the Queen's public-house, Scotland Street, Sheffield, by which three persons Mr. Bywater, Ann Oorbridge, and Harriet Walker, unfortunately lost their lives.
