Hello Kerry,

Since he was still in Hollowagte in 1881, and his death was registered in 1886, in Rotherham, I was wondering what evidence there was that he moved to Sheffield?

And he is already a widower in 1871, so more children will need some explaining

Hi Thank you all so much for your replies. It turns out that Joseph the son of John was my ancestor and he moved to sheffield to get married. looks like everyone else stayed in rotherham.

you were all so fast, I might have to pick your brains about my other lines on my tree! lol
