Hello Kerry,

Since he was still in Hollowagte in 1881, and his death was registered in 1886, in Rotherham, I was wondering what evidence there was that he moved to Sheffield?

And he is already a widower in 1871, so more children will need some explaining :)

thanks to you all for your replies. Joseph was the son of john, he moved to sheffield and had his family there. he would have been my great great grandad i think.
