Guest treehugger Posted April 1, 2007 Share Posted April 1, 2007 They were in action as far back as 1985, I played a game or two for the London Owls football team around this time when they were in a supporters league. Our home ground was on some playing fields next to Wormwood Scrubs Prison and SWFC donated a kit to the London Owls which was the old yellow one worn by Mike Lyons and co. I used to be in them for a short time when I first moved down south.
