clive_w_nicholson
I found this photograph of The Wednesday FC a couple of years back. I've not seen it published anywhere and the club don't have a copy. I don't need it for the work I am doing so it's the file is pretty much redundant on my computer. Thought I'd put it up on here incase anyone else wants to see it. It is almost certainly taken in 1891 or the season after they lost in the FA Cup final to Blackburn Rovers, due to the kit and some of the players that are on here or are not on here. clive_w_nicholson
Billy Betts is definately on here. I could identify one or two others when I looked into it but can't remember. Anyone know any of the others?
Guest Old Canny Street Kid
Billy Betts is definately on here. I could identify one or two others when I looked into it but can't remember. Anyone know any of the others? The big man in the bowler on the left is John Holmes, who was the main club official at the time. Several of the players are familiar from other photographs, but don't have these to hand. But it's a great picture.
