dunsbyowl1867
Passing on the word - Someone called David Lloyd has managed to get 10 Downing Street to allow an e-petition looking for support to have open access to the registers of births, marriages and deaths from 1837 to 1908. If you agree to support the idea it will make family history just that little bit easier, as these registrations are over 100 ears old. This one act would enable all family historians and genealogists to find the right family certificate without having to purchase a copy certificate which turns out to be incorrect. You do need to be a British citizen or resident to sign, so even if you can't sign yourself please tell your friends about it. >>> http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/OpenBMDrecords/

Guest Reddles
Only takes a minute and if successful this change would make a real difference when researching :)
