dunsbyowl1867 Posted March 30, 2009 Share Posted March 30, 2009 Noticed this on a mailing list and made me chuckle "All, just to note to say that my query to Sheffield Local Studies Library came up trumps and they have found a newspaper clipping which reports the death of my Gt Grandfather William C Greatorex "in a tent off Gleadless Road". He was at a flower show!! Just for the record, to obtain a copy of the clipping requires payment of £5 sterling but small price I think to pay. Thanks to all who recommended I try that route."
