Just posted a Picture Sheffield link to this building as it later became the Liberal Club. Thought I deserved its own thread - can anyone provide any further information?

Hi, yes it was a lovely looking building.

It stood on the corner of Irving Street & Fisher Lane=(running parallel to Main Road)

Seems original land owning family had a smaller property there from the late 1300s up to 1723                                            when Darnall Hall was built.

In 1845 it was used as a Lunatic asylum

Then as the Club.

It was completely destroyed by fire on Tuesday 20th April  2010, the grounds and area around stood empty till regenerated.   In  May 2021 the DARNALL HALL Primary Care Centre opened having been built on part of the original grounds, and named in reference to the HALL.
