Guest Old Canny Street Kid Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 This Pye Bank/Pitsmoor Road picture dates back to a holiday period in the 1940s, I think, and it is on the hill between the end of Rock Street and the end of Fox Street on one side and Macro Street on the other (the railway is under the road at this point). To anyone who lived in the Fox Street/Rock Street/Macro Street area, this is quite a nostalgic picture, and it has featured on some calendars.
