I remember thinking that had these cottages been in Dore or in a more prosperous part of the City they would have been preserved and become desirable residences. Sadly, they weren’t ,and like so much else in that part of the world , including Bishops House,they were demolished.😟

? Bishops House? only one I know is at Norton Lees! and it is still very much standing, and a great visitor attraction.

Think Lysanderix means  Bishopsholme. (Norwood Hall) It was the Bishops House at one time.
