mickjj Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Used to be one of my locals. Back int the seventies they used to serve one of the biggest "Barnsley Chops" you would ever likely see. Me and the missus went in on our latest visit home and were very impressed with how the place has kept it's charm. The food is still excellent and the Landrord/lady were bothe very very ameniable hosts. Both took time to go to each table to make sure that everyone was enjoying there meal and evening, evensitting down at a number of tables(including ours) for a chat if invited.
