dunsbyowl1867 Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Deeds (mortgages and assignments of a lease) 1833-1934 Relating to the "Broomhall House" beerhouse with the house, dwelling house and small saleshop converted into a house, on a site of 416 square yards, in Broomhall Street, Sheffield, which was leased by the Burgesses to George Henry Hobson, of Sheffield, book-keeper, for a term of 99 years by a deed of 4 Apr 1833; assigned to Messrs. Henry Burrows and Ranson Birks, common brewers, in 1897; and leased by the Burgesses to Duncan Gilmour & Co. Ltd., for a term of 10 years in 1934.
