Guest tsavo
Info on the Vulcan statue on the Town Hall. Seems no-one can agree on it's size though. Any guesses? http://public-art.shu.ac.uk/sheffield/rag89.html

DaveH
Info on the Vulcan statue on the Town Hall. Seems no-one can agree on it's size though. Any guesses? http://public-art.shu.ac.uk/sheffield/rag89.html Thanks for the link to this site Tsavo, I am sure the number and location of Vulcan statues in Sheffield (the most famous one being the one on the top of the town hall) has been discussed in another thread and that the answer has been given at anything from 3 to 5. This link seems to give full details of most them that can currently be seen in the City with details of size, sculptor / artist and dates. A lot of good information which I have not come across all in one place before.
