On Tuesday week Martha Bagshaw was brought before the coroner of Sheffield, to give evidence touching the discovery of the body of an infant, which had been buried in a dung heap; evidence was adducted to the effect that the above Martha Bagshaw was the mother of the child. She has been committed to York Castle, charged with wilful murder.
