My self and a couple of other anglers Pat Needham (one time winner of the Ladies National Angling Championships) and her husband Brian, organized a casting competition. Brian & me waded out onto the sill of Sanderson's Weir and placed wooden target boards in the river, the idea was to cast out an hit the target board, those who did won a prize.
