I, at least, made it into Paradise Square; the wife only got as far as the railing at the top corner before deciding the whole place was too steep and that she couldn't go any further ! That's the reason we didn't get to go down Figtree Lane/New Street - it wasn't a matter of knowing where it was (bought many a stamp at the Philatelist shop there in the 70's) more a matter of gradient !
