I was reading a thread recently that I now can't find that introduced the topic of the first town hall and the shops under it. There's a full list of the shopkeepers below, but I was amazed to see that a Gregg was amongst them.

I wonder what fast food they were selling in 1637 ? lol

Maybe the traditional pasties were hot back then .... congealed in the mid-1830's

They are indeed older than you'd think, I heard an interview with a representative the other day and they have been around since the 1930's (not just the last 10 minutes).
