RichardB
This one I'm immensely proud of. There isn't much of it, but when you've looked everywhere, everyday for 18 months and you are thinking "That's it" to find a keeper (of a decent year) of a place with no known keepers is such a thrill. Bankrupt - Frederick Kitson, Eagle and Child beerhouse, 28 Smithfield. Birmingham Daily Post, Saturday October 13th 1888. That's it, not much really - but I bet Lamb, A-Z of Sheffield Public Houses, Tsavo, Hey and even Leader would be proud to have landed this one. Great catch Richard, and not a "fisherman's tale" either!
