How many are still open I sure Richard will have them all anyway on his database. How many are still open ? If closed, when did they close; any additional known keepers ? (especially "modern" ones. Brilliant idea Stuart ! My database has a very heavy bias to Pre-WWII; any help beyond that much appreciated.
SteveHB
I thought that the 'Potato Crisp Factory' I found on map ??? Was more important! And someone has told me the Company/Brand Name, after all "You can't have beer without crisps" 'can you, and 'Sheffields own crisps' come to that. SteveHB
Castle Crisps ??? 0 out of 10, the person who remembers them, told me he seemed to think it started with 'W' but then he went 'all silent' on me.
RichardB
0 out of 10, the person who remembers them, told me he seemed to think it started with 'W' but then he went 'all silent' on me. I didn't even look at the map - when I hit 500 posts Admin promised me a "Castle Crisps Club" badge, I had one in the 60's - saved the tokens - no idea where they were from.... Canny Bag O' Tudor ???? Jeez, I've been in the North East too long - John Tudor - 70's goalkeeper ...

Lots of freeware out there that can be used to crop and save bits of maps/photos, 'Irfanview' will do it but a plug-in (add-on) has to be downloaded. I will have a look at what's available and sort some distructions out, after I've eaten my Wreys crisps, spelling of 'wrays' may be incorrect, by the way
