Sheffield History
Home seeks memorabilia Care workers at an old folks' home in Sheffield hope household items or magazines from the past might jog the memories of residents with Alzheimer's. Bosses at Silver Lodge Care Home in Chapeltown are appealing for donations of old-fashioned items which might help elderly residents with dementia reconnect with the past. The home wants donated items to be in good condition and to hold some sort of nostalgic value. The articles can be delivered in person to the Silver Lodge Care Home. mickjj
That is a great idea. I do hope it works out for them. Is it just magazines and the like what they are asking for?
