Illness

Step daughter, 18, going on 19, going on 28; currently ill. Bit of a msytery initially, now seems to be Addison's Disease (sometimes known as Blown Adrenals or Adrenal Fatigue) - only really picked up after 90% of adrenal function lost - anyway, you look it up.

Low blood pressure, hair loss, faintness/dizziness + lots of stuff. Currently undergoing tests; brain scan on the cards; since, as you know higher Cortisol levels causes suppression of the pituitary gland, which results in lower production of TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) - and with her Mom and Grandma both being hypothyroid .... not to mention the hypothalamus.....

Give you something to read anyway ...

I may, or, indeed, may not be here, I'll do my best, but I hope you understand - some things are more important than old Sheffield Pubs, not many things mind you !; her Father is putting in a good effort on her behalf.
