Bradfield Cricket Club is over 100 years old. Does anyone know of its history of have any old photographs. There are a number on the walls in the clubhouse, the crowds around the ground are amazing but its a few years ago

I don't know much about the club itself but I know the history of the cricket pavilion.

It was used by the navvies who were building the second tunnel to the woodhead railway.

I believe the tunnel was completed in 1954 and the plans and drawings were done by my hubby for it to be

dismantled and transported to Bradfield after getting planning permision.

This was about 1957/8.
