Ponytail
Sheffield Flood Claim for: Thomas Wragg, beerhouse keeper. Byron Hotel, Newhall Road. https://sheffieldfloodclaimsarchive.shu.ac.uk/claimSummary.cfm?claim=4-3644 Claim for Injury to wife Thomas Wragg, beerhouse keeper, New Hall Road, Sheffield, The Wife of the said Thomas Wragg. https://sheffieldfloodclaimsarchive.shu.ac.uk/claimSummary.cfm?claim=9b-207 From the claim for "injury" to his wife, it appears it was Mrs. Wragg who worked in the Beerhouse and Thomas had another occupation. Brewster Sessions, 1861 & 1871 Census, for the Wragg family would be helpful. Whereabouts was the Byron Hotel, did it have other names or just a short lived Beerhouse?
