This image was originally part of the Tim Hale Photographic Collection. It was purchased at auction in September 2019 through donations from members of the public and a grant from the Graves Trust. Laurence Frederick Peacock born 1838 died 1900. He was the gentleman who took the photographs of the Sheffield Flood in 1864. Also took photographs in Derbyshire. Lamp posts are in similar positions, the stone cottages just down Walkley Bank Road (R/H side of photo, past the building), look the same.
