tozzin
When we moved to Eckington to a bungalow, we didn't have any storage room for my books on Sheffield so very reluctantly I donated them to a ex-servicemen charity, there was 350 in total and every one was about Sheffield, I really miss those informative books, I had to go to the hospital recently and I didn't have any books to read while waiting so I went on Amazon and came across the two books in the photo, Sheffield's Dark Streets and Sheffield's Dark Heart both by Margaret Drinkall, proceeds from both books goes to Sheffield Hospital Charity. Margaret has done some brilliant research on these two books and they give a harrowing look into the crimes committed in Victorian Sheffield, I recommend both books.
