Behind the Beeswing sign is another....  ?   Vaults, the building in the background looks like licenced premises. Shades Vaults or Spirits perhaps?

The demise of the Beeswing Tavern came in 1901 following a police raid for gambling.  The justices refused to renew the licence of Jane Wynn the landlady (wife of William Wynn), then refused to transfer it to a Mr Lewis Jackson.  The Old Albion Brewery owned the Beeswing, but after the landlady's conviction kept it closed. The Chief Inspector of Police stated that it was difficult to supervise the house as it was accessed via a jennel, it was not wanted and asked the justices to continue their refusal.  The house was opposite another fully licensed house: the Shades Vaults. By 1905 the premises were being advertised for rent as suitable for a factor or light manufacturer.
