Parkhead Hall, Ecclesall Road South.

You know how it is when you're looking for something and get side tracked. Saw a derelict photograph of Parkhead and wondered what had become of it.

Information with the photograph:

The house was sold to Robert Hadfield, the managing director of Hadfields in late 1890. He carried out many alterations, including the addition of a two storey block comprising of a billiard room, library, two further bedrooms and a bathroom. It was Hadfield who renamed the house Parkhead. For further information, see 'Whirlow' by Shirley Frost, pages 48 and 58-62.
