Thomas Percival was in trade from 3 Waingate before Ezra Hounsfield joined him in partnership.

Hounsfield, Mrs. Nancy, Elm Cottage, 142 Rock Street. Possibly widow of Ezra

Nancy Hounsfield died 3rd Q 1884 aged 81.

 

Thought perhaps Ezra married into the Percival family. Free Bmd only marriage for Ezra 1st Q 1850 Kensington, to possibly, Nancy Raywood.

Perhaps it was a 2nd or even 3rd marriage for one or both of them. 

There is Nancy Percival, married 3rdQ 1842 Manchester; 4thQ 1843 Runcorn or 1st Q 1849, Manchester.

Sheffield Flood Claim: 

Ezra Hounsfield, Omnibus and Cab & Co. Proprietor, 3 Waingate. 

This Claim was for his premises on Stanley Street where he had a Coach House. Damage done to a number of Cabs, Omnibus, Carriages etc. plus injury to a Bay Mare.
