Rhubarb Hall, Darnall

An entry in our family bible gives details of my great Aunt being born in 1901 at Rhubarb Hall, Darnall, Sheffield.  Does anyone know where this was please?

I'm not sure that it was a physical place.  Rhubarb Hall was the nickname of the Society of Apothecaries (from the rhubarb and jalap purgatives they often prescribed).  Apothecaries, in effect G.P's, had to hold the Licence of the Society of Apothecaries (LSA).  Possibly the Rhubarb Hall reference relates to a delivery by a local doctor (at home)?

Hi Awadan. May I suggest, the best thing to do, is apply for her Birth Certificate, you can do it online!

That way it will give you the place of Birth. Ok Heartshome.
