Legg Brothers don't appear to have been trading long in Sheffield. Wondered if they were a branch of Company who were expanding and it didn't work out.

Legg Brothers opened their Sheffield premises in November 1854 and closed after 20 years in December 1874. The company seems to have originated in Liverpool. They became a limited company in 1893, so pulling out of Sheffield didn't mean they were on the ropes. They also had a branch in Douglas, Isle of Man.
