madannie77
W T Glover & Co was a manufacturer of cables, particularly for high voltage work. Their factory was in Trafford Park but they installed electrical cables and systems in many places. They also amassed a large photographic archive, some of which were taken in Sheffield. The archive is now in the care of the Science Museum: https://collection.sciencemuseumgroup.org.uk/people/ap17308/w-t-glover-co-ltd The first set were taken between 1909 and 1919 on Burngreave Road:

madannie77
A 100kW kiosk and a substation in a park. Sheffield, according to the archive, but no further identification.
madannie77
Cable work on a girder bridge, 1909-1919. Some of these look like there has been some touching up involved, and I think the last one might be reversed (or perhaps not - I really don't know!!)
madannie77
A few random photos labelled as Sheffield, no other location i.d. 1904 1907-1917 1915-1925 There are others labelled Sheffield in the archive. Some are merely photos of trenches with cable in and could be anywhere and a couple are, I think, not Sheffield at all (probably Harrogate, in my opinion)

Strange how they have superimposed a figure on the high balustrade.
