Whites Directory 1849. Green, Alfred, edge tool, currier knife, surgeons instrument, file steel, railway spring &etc. manfr., 86 Pond Street & Hereford Street, h. Cherry Mount. Whites Directory 1856. Green, Alfred, edge tool, tanners & curriers knife, surgeons instrument &etc. manufacturer, 86 Pond Street, h. Cherry Mount. Whites Directory 1862. Green, Alfred, mnfr. curriers and tanners knives, edge tools, files, steel, surgical instrument and patent truss, 86 Pond Street and 2 Harmer Lane, h. Cherry Mount, Clough Bank. Doesn't appear on the Hawley Collection List. There is Alfred Green & Sons, King Street, Port Mahon.
