For being open during Divine Service: Mrs Eels of Bay Childers, High Street; Mrs. Walker of the Stanley Street Tavern and Mr Williams in Mulbery Street. 

Thomas Owen, Ruebens Head, Burgess Street having company at a late hour.

George Rodgers of the Elephant beerhouse, Silver Street Head fined for keeping his house open at a quarter to eleven o'clock in the evening. 

Sheffield Mercury 26th April 1834

See marked middle of 1st column, also top of first column 2 inquest where "died by the Visitation of God" declared cause of death.
