Sale of the Ram's Head Public House 1801

Newspaper Advert,  Iris 17th December 1801

To be sold at Auction, by Messrs Bardwell and Son. 22nd December 1801 at the Angel Inn. 

A Leasehold Estate, situate at the bottom of Hawley Croft in Sheffield, held under the Trustees of Hollis's Hospital for an unexpired term of seven hundred years, at a yearly ground rent of twelve shillings; consisting of the Ram's Head Public House and three other houses adjoining.....etc.

Found when you had to sit in front of a microfilm reader and wind it on manually, no index, just wind and hope you find and don't miss something, or get distracted with other articles 😂🤣 What fun I had. 😂🤣The print offs were never brilliant. My interest to print off was George Badger on Bank Street.
