Lysanderix
By 1997 ,much of what was left of Sheffields once diverse and , in some sectors, progressive steel making and steel processing industry was in stark decline….especially in what had once been a buoyant private sector. Someday ,a factual, none biased history of the decline and death of a once prosperous industry will be written. In the meantime, there are those who believe its inevitability and others with the completely opposite opinion. Sufficient to say we now import MASSIVE quantities of steel and,in the absence of special profiles ,such as those used in the manufacture of agricultural implements ,have allowed dozens of companies to simply go out of business. China being the beneficiary.🥲🥲🥲
