LeadFarmer
Some years ago I was walking around St Peter & St Paul's Church in Exton Rutland having visited Geof Hamiltons gardens. One grave that stuck out was this one showing the names of two people from Sheffield. Seems they are buried there simply because the wife loved the church, with the husband accompanying her a few years later. What I found unusual was to see graves of Sheffielders located so far away, and no dates of birth or age at death shown. Also, Trevor is referred to as coming from Graves Park when that area is normally referred to as Norton, or Woodseats. I live in Norton but have never heard any locals saying they come from 'Graves Park'. Anyone know who these people were, and how they might both have been allowed to be buried there? Athy
It looks well maintained, suggesting that they may have friends or family there.
