Richard Moore
My 3 times great grandfather was mayor of Sheffiled in the mid 1800's and served 4 terms. I believe his potrait (attached) hangs in the Town Hall. I was due to visit on the recent open day but the evenet was rescheduled. I did visit his grave at All Saints Eccleshall where he was laid to rest in the family vault. He was a partner in Tennants Brewery, based at the Exchange Brewery in Sheffield and one of his sons Robert William, my 2 times great grandfather worked there too. However I can find no trace of what happened to Robert after he left the brewery, nor any record of his death. in 1881, the year after his father's death, he was living at 5 Westbourne Road with his wife and daughter. However in the 1891 census his wife was living at 43 Crookes Road with their son and daughter, but not Robert. I am trying to find what happended to Robert and any help would be appreciated.
