tozzin Posted April 4, 2022 Share Posted April 4, 2022 Has anybody else noticed the demise of “ The Whistlers “ ? when I was a lad everybody seemed to purse their lips and blow, to whistle to me was a great accomplishment especially if others could recognise the tune that left your brain and blown out on the nearby ears. I have my own theory as to why whistling is a dying art, it’s because at least 95% of modern music just cannot be whistle there’s just no tune as I would recognise and the replicate as whistle, I can’t really call the modern songs music just for the inability to whistle them. Roger Whittaker, Ronnie Ronalde were just fantastic whistlers and someone who’s name escapes me could whistle the Flight of the Bumble Bee, it was brilliant, another schoolboy talent laid to rest.
