Kelham Island

Does anyone know how Kelham is going on after the floods? I know they were hit very badly being next to the river. Web site says they are closed until further notice.

Notsure I work in the neepsend area seems ok now despite few collapsed walls in the area, I walked past the Don minutes before it overflowed it was moving at great speed and the arches of the bridge was full ive never seen it so full, its now at least 6-8ft shallower now! I hope kelham islands okay but i imagine it was bad because the water reached penistone road!!!! and left it with a slimey muddy texture allover the road and factorys for weeks!

I was wondering if u had any roman remains or roads knowledge in Sheffield?

thanks you have been most helpful and sorry to change the subject but do u know the exact location of the rock ebeneezer elliott sat on for inspiration its supposabley near black brook and rivelin i believe i would love to know where, its supposabley engraved elliott ???

Where is black brook?? is it in rivelin or near the s bend in rivelin valley?

and id also like to know about roman roads if possible where there ran any suggestions sites maps etc... would be great
