The opening theme, 'Cocoon' by Timerider, means the start of another edition of The Hitman and Her. This Oct 89 show is from The Roxy in Sheffield. Hosted by Pete Waterman and Michaela Strachan. **'The Hitman And Her' 3CD compilation was released on 20/11/06 and contains some of the Saturday night anthems featured on the show. Sheffield History Posted March 14, 2007 Author Share Posted March 14, 2007 Malcolm was head DJ and entertainments manager in the late 80's After Roxy's he went out of the city working as a DJ then had a short spell at Cairo's when an old manager of Roxy (Kevan) managed Cairos for a while and (to be honest) the place went straight downhill. Guest dawnwearsrebina Posted August 26, 2008 Share Posted August 26, 2008 I was actually there on that night, it was great and i made my mom tape it so i could watch it when i got home. Michaela Strachans legs were orange and she only smiled for the cameras, as soon as they were off, she stopped. Get all that 80's hair, we knew how to have fun then, didn't we. Roxy's was huge though and there was the big seating upstairs where you could look over the dance floor. You could get burgers and chips too!!!! Bring back the 80's!!!!!!!
