This is the pub that my 3rd Great Grandfather ran, (William Armstrong he was born in 1826, he married Elizabeth Clarke in 1849) he is classed as 'Beerhouse Keeper and Joiner' on the 1871 -1901 census.

It is once again a Public House, called 'The Milestone'
